Victims received them.
Within minutes, Continuity's network collapsed.
Arrests began across multiple countries.
Judges resigned.
Executives disappeared.
Officials fled.
But Victor Hale escaped.
Daniel found him near the emergency exit.
Victor raised a weapon.
“You think you won?”
Daniel stepped forward.
“No.”
Victor smiled.
“Then why aren't you afraid?”
“Because I'm not sixteen anymore.”
Victor fired.
Anna pushed Daniel aside.
The bullet struck the wall.
Marcus tackled Victor.
Federal agents entered.
Victor was arrested.
He screamed as they dragged him away.
“You don't know what you've unleashed!”
Daniel looked at him.
“I know.”
Victor stared.
“What?”
“A world that doesn't need you.”
Victor's face fell.
For the first time, Continuity had no protection.
No hidden door.
No powerful name.
