Jonathan stepped into the doorway.
No guards.
No weapons visible.
Just the same calm expression.
Daniel raised his gun.
“Don't.”
Jonathan smiled.
“That's exactly what your father did.”
Henry stared at him.
“You should have stayed dead.”
Jonathan's smile disappeared.
“You made me disappear.”
“You threatened my son.”
“I offered him a future.”
Daniel stepped forward.
“You kidnapped children.”
Jonathan looked around the archive.
“I preserved potential.”
“You destroyed lives.”
“No.”
Jonathan's voice remained calm.
“I gave those lives purpose.”
Claire moved behind him.
Agents surrounded the room.
Jonathan didn't resist.
Instead, he looked at Daniel.
“Ask your wife.”
Daniel froze.
“What?”
Jonathan smiled.
“Ask Melissa why she really disappeared.”
Daniel stared.
“You're lying.”
“Am I?”
Jonathan looked at the archive.
“Your wife discovered Bellhaven.”
“Yes.”
“She didn't discover everything.”
He paused.
“She discovered what Bellhaven was doing to children.”
Daniel's jaw tightened.
“But she never discovered why Noah was selected.”
Jonathan's eyes moved toward him.
“Because Noah wasn't selected.”
