He was calm, elegant and completely unafraid.
He congratulated Emilia for finding her mother.
Then he handed her a legal notice.
Blackthorne Hotel owed twelve million dollars to a company Silas controlled.
Unless Emilia paid within seventy-two hours, he would seize the property.
Emilia accused him of creating the false debt.
Silas smiled.
“Accusations require proof.”
