Sirens surrounded the ship.

Samuel collapsed after the officers removed his restraints.

Bernadette’s files identified his daughter.
She was living in Canada under the name Anne Keller, working as a school librarian. She had no memory of Samuel and had built a family of her own.
Samuel chose not to approach her immediately.
He wrote a letter explaining the truth and allowed Mara’s victim team to contact her safely.
One by one, the active Carter children received the same choice.

Nico began culinary school.

June left protective custody and returned for the first anniversary of the restaurant’s reopening.
Elena stood between Lucy and Lillian beneath the chandeliers.
Lily watched them laugh.

It had been found in Bernadette’s ship cabin after the arrest.
Attached was a photograph taken twenty years earlier.

Behind her stood a third woman carrying another baby.
The woman had Gabriel’s mother’s face.
