Chapter 6 - The Child With Emma's Name
An explosion ripped through the mountain house, opening the hidden passage. Emma confronted Evelyn, but the reunion was nothing like the one she had imagined. Evelyn spoke as a survivor who measured every word and admitted she had used Lily and Clover as a signal Emma would recognize.
In the tunnels, S-2 explained that Emma's implant had stopped searching and found the signal it needed. The fragments were moving toward the child. They rushed to the operating room beneath the lake while armed men followed.
Evelyn admitted the embryo came from her preserved cells. Margaret forced the truth about Samuel's cells into the open. The unborn child carried a neurological pattern capable of unlocking Samuel's encrypted network.
Julia had supposedly died weeks earlier, but Margaret revealed her death was staged. Julia answered an emergency radio frequency and promised to rescue Lily.
