The identical men said Kenneth had completed his assignment and it was now my turn. A silver-haired woman named Evelyn arrived and claimed I had once called her Mother. She admitted directing Site Zero.
She told Detective Harris that his father had helped build the facility, and showed a photograph proving it.

Gunfire erupted in the tunnels. A tactical team wearing crossed keys beneath a burning crown broke in. Their commander, Daniel Mercer, removed his helmet.
