Chapter 6 - The Girl Who Wasn't Supposed to Remember

The old detective warned me not to listen to the music. A soft piano melody began. Pain ripped through my head and memories returned: white halls, children in numbered uniforms, a silver-haired woman asking my name.
"Sarah," the child answered.
"No. You are Subject 001."
The mysterious janitor appeared. He revealed a family photograph of a couple and two identical girls. On the back: Only one could leave Site Zero.
"There were two of you," Justin said.
"There still are," the janitor replied.
He showed us two doors: EXIT and MEMORY. Before I could choose, twenty identical men in black suits entered, all wearing the Silver Crest.
They spoke together: "Welcome home, Subject 001."
