CHAPTER 3: THE CAMERA EXPOSES THE REAL CULPRIT

Back in the present, the entrance camera footage is played on the large screen in the waiting room.
Everyone watches in silence.
The footage clearly shows Vu driving the supercar into the garage. At the narrow turn, the front tire hits the metal barrier. The barrier shakes, a metal piece breaks off, and the car pauses for a moment.
Then Vu gets out, checks the tire, looks around, and quickly drives the car into the washing area without reporting anything.
The entire garage goes dead silent.
Mr. Khoi turns to Vu, shocked.
“You… you hit my car against the barrier?”
Vu finally admits the truth. He says he was afraid he would have to pay for the damage, so he stayed silent. He thought that if the scratch was discovered after the wash, everyone would blame the person wiping the car.
That person was Linh.
His confession hits everyone like a slap.
The customers who recorded Linh lower their phones. The manager is ashamed. Mr. Khoi realizes that he publicly humiliated an innocent girl.
But Linh does not ask for revenge.
She only asks for one thing: for Mr. Khoi to clearly tell everyone that she did not scratch the car.
After a long silence, Mr. Khoi turns to the crowd and says:
“The scratch on my car was not caused by this girl.”
Then he apologizes to Linh.
The manager also apologizes for forcing her to take responsibility before investigating the truth.

Linh looks at him and says:
“I hope next time, when something happens, you will check the truth before forcing a weaker person to apologize.”
