CHAPTER 1: THE SCRATCH ON THE SUPERCAR
The story begins inside a high-end car wash garage filled with luxury cars, bright lights, and wealthy customers.
Linh, a poor young car wash girl, is accused of scratching a black supercar worth a fortune. The scratch runs deeply from the front wheel toward the door, making the car owner furious.
The owner shouts at Linh in front of everyone. Customers gather around and record the scene with their phones. The manager, afraid of losing a VIP customer, pressures Linh to apologize and sign a compensation form.
But Linh refuses.
She knows she did not cause the scratch. She used the correct towel, the correct cleaning solution, and followed the washing steps carefully. Still, no one believes her because she is only a poor employee.
When the angry owner throws the wet towel onto the floor, Linh bends down to pick it up. At that moment, she notices a strange dried mud trail beneath the car. Then she finds a small metal fragment stuck inside the front tire.
The metal is covered with mud and gray paint — the same color as the entrance barrier.
Linh realizes the scratch did not come from her towel.
