CHAPTER 2: WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE CAR WAS WASHED

The story then goes back to the moment the black supercar first arrived at the garage.

Linh has only worked there for three months. She comes from a poor family, lives in a small rented room, and works hard to support her sick mother and younger brother. She is not afraid of hard work, but she fears being falsely accused.

That afternoon, the garage is extremely busy because it has just rained. Expensive cars line up outside, and the manager urges everyone to work faster.

When Mr. Khoi, the wealthy owner of the supercar, arrives, Vu immediately runs out to greet him. He offers to drive the car into the VIP washing area.

According to the rules, employees must inspect the exterior and record the car’s condition before washing. But because the garage is crowded, Vu skips the process.

While driving through the narrow entrance, Vu turns too early and scrapes the front tire against a metal barrier. He gets out, looks around nervously, picks up one broken piece of metal, and quickly drives the car inside as if nothing happened.

Then he assigns Linh to wash the car.

When Linh wants to take inspection photos first, Vu stops her and says the VIP customer is in a hurry. He tells her not to waste time.

Later, when the mud is washed away and the scratch appears, Vu immediately blames Linh.
