Grant and Celeste planned their wedding before the supposed baby was due.

“You’re thinking of confronting them at the wedding.”

“That could become chaotic.”

“So was destroying my daughter’s inheritance.”

Marcus leaned back.

“If you do this, you must remain calm. Present evidence. Do not threaten anyone. Let them destroy themselves.”

Evelyn agreed.

She obtained a silicone belly identical to the model Celeste had purchased. Dr. Price agreed to attend as a witness. Clara Bell, terrified that Vivian would abandon their agreement, finally agreed to cooperate in exchange for legal protection.

The police would not interrupt the ceremony without stronger grounds.

But financial investigators waited nearby.
