THE BRIDE WHO RAN FROM HER OWN WEDDING
The groom grabbed the driver by the collar in front of the luxury hotel entrance.
“You stole my bride?”
His voice was sharp, breathless, and full of rage.
Inside the back seat, the bride sat trembling in her white wedding dress, clutching a phone tightly against her chest.
The driver raised both hands, confused and terrified.
“I didn’t take her.”
The bride suddenly leaned forward, tears streaming down her face.
“Don’t take me back.”
For one second, the groom froze.
Then one of his friends pointed at the phone in her hand.
The groom’s anger changed into panic.
The bride hid the phone behind her back and whispered through tears:
“He can’t hear it.”
No one knew what was on that phone.
But everyone could see one thing clearly.

The bride had not run away from the wedding.
She had run away from him.
